Arriving in Lima

Welcome to Peru! Upon arrival at Lima airport you’ll be met and transferred to our hotel in the popular Miraflores district of the city. The rest of the day is free to relax or explore the city before our welcome meeting at 7pm this evening where you will meet your tour leader.

Cusco | Sacred Valley

Stop: hour - Meals included

Today, a morning flight takes us to Cusco. Upon landing, private transport swiftly escorts you to the Sacred Valley. Highlights include the Mirador of Taray, offering a panoramic view. Next, we explore Pisac’s archaeological site with its ancient Inca cemetery and farming terraces. A brief stop at the lively Pisac market is on the agenda. Finally, you’ll be driven to your hotel for a comfortable stay.

Cusco | Sacred Valley

At 9:00 am, we begin in Chinchero, showcasing a colonial church atop Inca ruins. Next, Maras reveals colonial beauty in stone structures and sculptures. The Salineras salt mines boast 3,000 small pools, yielding salt through natural evaporation. In Moray, we discover Incan agricultural terraces, showcasing their advanced crop cultivation techniques at high altitudes (3,450m/11,318ft). Finally, we return you to your hotel to rest.

Machu Picchu

Stop: hour - Meals included

Your adventure begins early! The guide picks you up at 4am from your Cusco hotel. Rest in our comfy private transport to Ollantaytambo. Catch the 6:10am. Arrive at Km104 to start your trek (2,000m/6,560 ft.). Pass the Urubamba River, explore Inca sites, and witness stunning views. Reach Wiñay Wayna ruins (2,600m/8,500ft). Enjoy lunch there. Continue to the Sun Gate for your first Machu Picchu view. Descend to Machu Picchu for afternoon photos and exploration. Later, head to Aguas Calientes for dinner and relaxation at your hotel.

Machu Picchu

Today’s the day! Begin with an early breakfast, then catch an early bus for the mesmerizing Machu Picchu sunrise—an extraordinary sight. Your guide will lead a two-hour tour of the Citadel. After your exploration, head down to Aguas Calientes for lunch.
Hop on the Vistadome train around 3:20pm, tracing the stunning Urubamba River. As you near Aguas Calientes, the canyon narrows, offering views of whitewater sections and a glimpse of Wiñay Wayna. Arrive at Ollantaytambo, where your driver is ready to take you back to your Cusco hotel by 7:00pm.

Cusco

At 10 am, we’ll pick you up from your hotel to begin your visit of Imperial Cusco City—a blend of Andean and Spanish cultures. Our journey includes a visit to the Santo Domingo Convent, constructed atop Koricancha, an ancient Inca Palace and the primary worship center of the Sun God. You’ll have time to soak in these captivating sights before heading to the archaeological site of Sacsayhuaman, showcasing military Inca architecture and commanding city views.
Finally, we’ll head to the northeast, exploring Q’enqo, Puca Pucará, and Tambomachay archaeological sites. Afterward, we’ll return you to your hotel for some rest, allowing you to fully enjoy Cusco.

Enjoy a free day in Cusco today to explore the city at your own pace. Alternatively you may wish to partake in one of the optional activities on offer today. You may wish to try your hand at a Peruvian culinary experience, with a unique insight into Peru’s food and culture. A local chef will aid you in creating some exquisite dishes.

Rainbow Mountain

Stop: hour - Meals included

Our exciting Rainbow Mountain Trek Adventure, starting with a 4am hotel pick-up. We drive for 3 hours through the South Valley, reaching the trailhead at Llacto (4,638m / 15,216 ft), passing Inca terraces, quaint villages, and Andean peaks. Enjoy alpacas and llamas during breakfast. Embarking on a 1.5-hour hike from the trailhead by a lovely stream, witness Ausangate Mountain and glaciers. Engage with locals preserving Quechua culture, understanding their attire and unique hats. After the hike, we explore Rainbow Mountain (5,020m /16,466ft) for about 30 minutes, with an optional hike to the Red Valley summit. Descending takes an hour, followed by a 3-hour drive to Puno, arriving at the hotel by 6pm.

Lake Titicaca

Post-breakfast, the tour leader will pick you up for a 30-minute boat ride to the floating islands of Puno. You’ll meet friendly locals showcasing their weaved products. Next, a 3-hour boat ride to Amantani Island. At 2:30 pm, we’ll reach our destination. After lunch, a one-hour hike to Pachataita offers a stunning sunset view over the lake. Return for dinner at a local home, where you’ll be warmly welcomed to stay overnight, experiencing their traditional way of life. Dress in local attire and join a lively school party, truly immersing in the local culture.

Puno

Stop: hour - Meals included

Enjoy an early breakfast with your local family, followed by island exploration. Afterward, a two-hour boat ride to Taquile Island, renowned for traditional customs, vibrant clothing, and exceptional weavings done mainly by men. Experience ancient farming techniques, savor local dishes at a traditional restaurant, and then boat back to Puno to rest and conclude your trip with memorable farewell dinner
