3.Mobile Payments: Services like GrabPay (for transportation) and some local apps facilitate mobile payments, primarily in urban centers

4.Currency Exchange: It's recommended to exchange currency at authorized banks or exchange offices to get the best rates. Avoid unlicensed money changers

Entry Visa

Vietnam offers an e-visa option for Saudi citizens, which is convenient and can be completed online. Steps for E-Visa Application:

1. Visit the Official E-Visa Portal: Access the Vietnamese Immigration Department’s e-visa website https://evisa.xuatnhapcanh.gov.vn/web/guest/trang-chu-ttdt

2. Complete the Application Form: Provide your personal, passport, and travel details

3. Upload Documents:
• Scanned copy of your passport’s biographical page
• Recent passport-sized photo (4x6 cm) with a white background

4. Pay the Fee: $25 USD, non-refundable, payable online

5. Wait for Processing: Takes 3-5 working days. You’ll receive the e-visa via email

6. Print the E-Visa: Present a printed copy upon arrival in Vietnam

Tips

Tipping in Vietnam :

1. Restaurants: A standard tip is around 5-10% of the total bill. Some restaurants may include a service charge, so it's essential to check your bill

2. Hotels:Tipping hotel staff is customary. You can tip porters around 1-2 Dollars per bag and leave a gratuity for housekeeping, typically around 1-2 Dollars per day

3. Tour Guides/Drivers: For guided tours or transportation services, tipping is appreciated. You can tip tour guides and drivers around 3- 5 Dollars per day, depending on the service

4. Taxi Drivers: Tipping taxi drivers is common, and rounding up the fare is acceptable
