Upon arrival at Mineralnye Vody Airport, you will be greeted and transferred to the stunning Elbrus Region. After checking in at your comfortable hotel, you’ll have the opportunity to meet our experienced guides and review your gear, ensuring everything is in order for the adventure ahead. The day will conclude with a delightful dinner at a local restaurant, where you can enjoy regional cuisine and get acquainted with your fellow adventurers.

We hike up Mount Cheget with light daypacks. Before the hike, everyone will receive a packed lunch, and we'll have lunch on the mountain with a view of Mount Elbrus. Our instructor will guide you on proper walking and breathing techniques in the mountains. From the top, enjoy stunning panoramas of Mount Elbrus and the Baksan Gorge. We'll carry small daypacks for today a thermos and a packed lunch. We'll hike up to Devichi Kosi Waterfall, where we'll have lunch. Afterward, we'll ascend further to the Observatory. We'll return to the hotel by evening. Dinner will be served at the hotel.

Transfer to the cable car and ascent to the snowy slope of Mount Elbrus. We will arrive to the mountain hut and check in followed by a short walk up the snowy slope. The instructor will provide training on two basic mountaineering skills: rope techniques and walking with crampons on snow and ice slopes.

We start early in the morning. We will hike with light backpacks, carrying only snacks, a thermos with hot tea, and water. You will ascend approximately 1200m and reach an altitude of 5000m. We spend some time at this altitude and alllow our bodies to adjust to the altitude then descent down to the mountain hut again for some well earned rest.

A rest day before the climb. We will practice self-arrest techniques on the icy slope using an ice axe. We will also review other previously learned skills. We will prepare our backpacks for the ascent. An early bedtime (17:00) will allow us to get enough rest before we climb to the highest point in europe, the top of Mt. Elbrus

We start the ascent between 2:00 - 3:00am and make our way to the snowcats which will then drive us up to an altitude of 4800m - 5000m. From there, we climb roped up, wearing crampons, carrying ice axes, helmets, and headlamps. We bring snacks, a thermos with hot tea, and water. We move very slowly to regulate our breathing and conserve energy. The ascent typically takes 4-6 hours, with an additional 1-2 hours for the descent back to the snowcat which will then drive us the rest of the way down to the mountain hut. We spend next night at the mountain hut.

We descend by cable car to the valley. Transfer to the hotel and have lunch at the hotel. In the evening, a celebration dinner and the awarding of medals and certificates.

After breakfast, we'll have a group transfer to Pyatigorsk. On the way, we'll stop at Narzan Meadows to enjoy the natural mineral water. At the designated time, you'll have an individual transfer to the airport.
